Paterson Pics (Dedicated 2 the twins)

When the digital era arrived the digitisation of one's own still photographs was inevitable. Naturally the photographs taken of my own family were first on the list. Then it would have been those related to my parents childhood/youth. More recently my efforts to build a family tree has widen the boundaries and these photographs are the first that have been digitised within that context.

I have wanted to do this i.e., present them in a suitable format for some time. It has ultimately happened because of the contact that I have established (December 2012) with the grandson (Quinten Alexander Paterson) of my mother's brother (Edward Alexander Paterson). This was made possible as a result of a Facebook friendship request that I received from his wife, Amanda Howell Paterson. It is somewhat ironic that it happened this way, as I have been trying quite hard to trace any one of Edward Alexander Paterson's children or grand children.

Hopefully I will now be able to grow this collection of photographs and so doing enhance the memories they represent.

Takes a while to load, but then proceeds quite smoothly. Looses image aspect ratio for portrait images i.e., squashes them.

If you have any comments, corrections, suggestions or plain criticism, I would appreciate it if you would communicate the same to me.
