Annus mirabilis is a Latin phrase that means "wonderful year" or "year of miracles". It describes a calendar year marked by extraordinary events, major breakthroughs, or historic achievements. Queen Elizabeth II famously called 1992 her "annus horribilis" (Latin for "horrible year") during a speech at Guildhall on November 24, 1992, marking the 40th anniversary of her accession.

A year has passed since Edith asked me to see the Doc for a Checkup before riding a 60 km Gravel (Road?) Race. It would have been great if the Triple Heart Bypass Op had not been followed by a Minor Stroke. Since it happened I have worked hard at my recovery and the progress has been good. While I can now walk down the road with the aid of a walking stick, I am still using the walker in the house and garden.

The assistance I have received has been way beyond what I could reasonably have expected, and I am truly grateful for that help.

Right now I am waiting for miracle i,e,, being able to walk unaided much the same as I was doing prior to the surgery. When that happens I will be back on my eMTB doing the riding I never got to do just over a year ago.

If you have any comments, corrections, suggestions or plain criticism,
I would appreciate it if you would communicate the same to me.
