Today I started my walk by walking down to the end of Scarlet Ribbon using a single crutch. There I turned, and then using two crutches, I walked to the end of Pincushion, and back to our Unit. The distance covered was about 940 meters.

As I have mentioned elsewhere, Edith and I have walked the dogs daily at the end of the day since we arrived at Protea Gardens. During those walks we would meet other folk doing the same thing. Less than two handfulls of those folk are regulars, and as I have mentioed elsewhere, these folk have been very supportive of Edith during my recovery from my heart surgery / mild stroke.
