Edith and I moved into our Unit in Protea Gardens at the beginning of December 2021. The row of units in our lane were mostly complete. They had taken a year to complete. The two rows above ours took another two years to complete.
The construction of the latest addition to Protea Gardens is about to commence. It will consist of 22 Units running below Scartlet Ribbon Lane and Pincushion Lane.
This blog was written to show the extent of the preparatory earth works, presumably almost complete, that run below Pincushion Lane. It looks much the same below Scarlet Ribbon Lane.
When will the construction of the Units be completed. My guess is that it will take at least 2 years. As much as I would like to run a tote for those prepared to wager when the work will be complete, I doubt that I will get any takers.
