The left side of my body has recovered significantly from the degradation suffered from the mild stroke that I had during My Triple Bypass Heart Surgery (TBHS). I can now also walk down the road with a Walking Cane, much the same as I was before the TBHS. However in the house, I am still using the walker. This walking involves stops and starts, corridors, sitting down and getting up, and working at the kitchen sink and my garage/workshop bench. The same is true for getting stuff done in the garden.

Basically I need to regain more of the muscle strength and control that I lost as a result of the TBHS and mild stroke. It is a work in progress, and I am receiving help in the form of two exercise and movement sessions with my Biokeniticist, Paul Chandler.

Ironically I now find myself thinking, "Have I reached a point where I am as capable as I was before all of this happened?". And the short answer is, "Yes, I do think that I am now mostly doing the stuff that I would have been doing if this TBHS/MildStroke had not occured.

So don't despair yet Fergus,
you may find me at the other end of the lead,
sooner than you think.

If you have any comments, corrections, suggestions or plain criticism,
I would appreciate it if you would communicate the same to me. And YES Ede, you too have helped, HUGELY!
