On the 13th June 2026 it will have been eight months sine I went for my check-up. I like to think that despite the set-backs, my recovery has-gone well. I wanted to walk again, and I can now walk quite comfortable down the road supported by a single crutch. I can also walk without a crutch in the house, but not with confidence. My left leg has not fully recovered yet, and I guess more walking is required.
I am of course very keen to reach my walking goal, as that is when I will try and ride a bike again, something that I am very much looking forward to. The problem with that goal is that I no longer have a bike, and need to decide whether I should buy a bike now, or wait. A problem that is exacerbated by a previous model of a Rail 9.7 GEN 4 PWR Surge Electric Mountain Bike being available right now at a good price.
