I like to think that my post-triple bypass op/mild stroke recovery is proceeding well. I have concentrated on walking, and I am now able to walk down the road with minimal assistance from a crutch held in my right hand. For the rest of the walk I am using two crutches and taking large steps, desperately trying to not drag the toe of my left foot.
So if I am still not walking unaided, why did I purchase a new bike to replace the one that was standing in the garage? MOTIVATION!!! I have made a pact with myself that I will not try to ride the new bike until I can WALK!
Until then, the bike will stand in the bike rack in the garage. Bruce I am sure will take it for a spin when he visits. He can also ride it when he accompanies Edith on a ride from Clarens to Fouriesberg when we viisit Clarens during July.
