I am not sure what activities are considered to be goals one should aim to achieve when recovering from a stroke. Walking has be a goal that I placed high up on my list. I would like to reach a point were I could once again accompany Edith when the dogs are taken for their late afternoon walk. While I am not there yet, I have made considerable progress.

Walking was also a goal that I felt I should achieve before I get back on my bicycle. Tomorrow I am going to try and ride my bicycle within the confines of the Protea Gardens road network. If I am successful and reasonably competent, I will take a big leap on Sunday and try and ride up the Currys Post Road, possibly going as far as The Terbodore.
